Toronto hotel window fishing photography

God mode.  For the neurotic introverts interested in street photography, fear not!  The isometric viewpoint frames scenes and allows a 3 dimensional scene and shadow play that sometimes get lost in street-level photos.  Often simply people going about their day as locals, but still able to tell a story… albeit a very short one.

A note on editing

A common theme in my shared photos is that the image has not been edited in anyway.  Straight outta camera.  It is a bit of a flex on how proud I am regarding the tech and a reluctance to go too far with processing like Instagram is flooded with.  But this particular photo was taken through a window.  That window was not designed for photography and adds a muting effect to the colors that could be easily rescued with the most basic of free editors.  The only argument against is, other than laziness, is that these colors are also what I likely say with my eyes the moment the camera was pulled away.  That means although muted, the images still represent reality.  They just would get ignored in social media.  You do you.  I like the image.  Unless you are being paid for it, shoot what you like and keep what you like.
